Strangely Attractive

I always liked Death Note and thought it was a great manga, but later on they made an Anime based on the manga, and even later on they made three movies based on the anime/manga series (Death Note I; Death Note II: The Last Name; Death Note III: L, Change The World). Now I am completely hooked on it, especially on L.

L is the strange looking genius detective, the best in the whole world actually, with raven black hair and dark eyes, he's always crouched and is always wearing the same baggy jeans and white t-shirt, he has a strange addiction to sweets and strawberries and also has a strange way of talking with percentages. All in all, he's strangely attractive, not to mention adorable.
Even in the movies when the character is played by Kenichi Matsuyama he looks attractive.

This is a quick sketch I made of him, he's a little more cutesy than actuality but still...
Furthermore, I purchased all three films on eBay, saw the manga on www.mangafox.com, the anime can be seen on youtube starting with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U31b6kelPJA&feature=related English subbed, a user was kind enough to put the whole series there.

After the anime/manga there was also a book (Death Note: Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases) by NisiOisiN (pen name, not to make it painfully obvious) narrated by Mello, it talks about a murder case in Los Angeles where L and Naomi Misora worked together on, it serves as a prequel to the series.

Starting out

Perhaps I should start this blog with a brief introduction to my person. I'm a young female outcast by choice who loves to read and hates reality checks.
I read a lot, not only books but stories written by kids my age or so*1 , also I read some occasional fanfiction*2 and often tend to start one of my own... but never really begin to write any of it (trying to write a fanfiction about Sky High WarrenxOC and thinking about another one on Death Note LxOC).
I do write ,though, some stories, they're all unfinished but I'm still working on them.
Seeing as I may sound boring and uninteresting I reach out for common topics with people to make a seemingly basic conversation. I tend to make friends easily but with time I often lose contact with most- either one of us forget or don't feel like starting a new conversation or bonding more that needed (I'm also too busy all the time and like to avoid most human contact).
Now that that's over and done with maybe I should mention that I'm also an art student with high expectations for the future if the world doesn't end up killing me first.
